That earlier study also mentioned that many buyers were willing to give up an updated kitchen, garage, and even a bedroom to be in their desired school district. Being located near a good school district can increase your resale value and stabilize the price of surrounding homes. No matter what’s happening in the market, parents will always care about their kids’ futures and look for the best possible school district.

There are a lot of resources out there to help you find great schools. Many people know about this site already, but GreatSchools.org can help you find fantastic schools. Niche.com is another great site.
They both operate similarly to Yelp. Schools will have a rating from one to 10 and plenty of reviews. You’ll have to take these reviews with a grain of salt, but they can give you some good information.
