Lititz is a gorgeous little city that we are sure you will love.
We recently had the opportunity to tour downtown Lititz, and today we’re sharing that experience with you.
We began our journey at the gorgeous Lititz visitor center. This quaint building used to be a train station, and you can still see the tracks. There’s something about the downtown area of Lititz that just takes your breath away.
So what’s the downside to such a beautiful place? Well, it certainly isn’t the cost of living. The numbers for Lititz are right in line with the national average. In fact, we couldn’t come up with a negative, even though we tried. There’s plenty of room to expand here, with a population of only 9,288. The median value to buy a house is under the national average, and you get a lot of bang for your buck because the market is on the low side for the cost of living there.

Food is another score that came in on the side of living in Lititz. It’s not hard to imagine why with all of the farmers’ markets and food stands that are available. The cost of groceries in Lititz might be slightly higher than average, but that doesn’t take into account the farm-to-table opportunities there.
